Round 1 of the Ottawa edition of the Wacken Metal Battle Canada took over House of TARG for an ear splitting night of metal and moshing. The show featured 4 local acts including The Aphelion, Peronicus, Triple Murder and Lycanthro.
There was a good crowd on hand for a Thursday evening show. Each of the bands had 20 minutes to grab the judges and audience. I had a great time checking out 3 local bands I had never seen before. Although maybe not as good a time as others…
