Toronto’s Jordan John, is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, whose star has been rising steadily these last few years, turning the heads of legends such as David Foster, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Drake, Keith Richards, Robbie Robertson, to name a few. He already has a long list of accolades including sharing the stage with the likes of Jeff Healey, Burton Cummings, Wide Mouth Mason, Lucky Peterson, and opening for musical greats ranging from Ray Charles, Johnny Winter, Robert Cray, and the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin. The music is a fresh, modern day Motown synergy of Blues and R&B …full of smooth, buttery groove, as can be heard in his latest CD, New Day (2013). For the Wakefield/Ottawa shows, he will be teamed up with musicians, Michael Carbone on drums, and his father…legendary bassist, Prakash John.
