The 2014 edition of the LME Showcase Festival is ready to roll. The Ottawa event will take place at Mavericks on May 16th and 17th. This is a great opportunity for local bands to get themselves in front of new audiences and industry professionals. I can think of many Ottawa bands that are deserving of such an opportunity.
The signup deadline for the Ottawa event is April 18th, 2014. Register your band now for the Ottawa event!
The top band will receive a great package that includes recording time at Liverpool Court Studios, an industry showcase in Montreal and more. There are generous packages for the 2nd and 3rd place bands as well.
Breaking down the walls between emerging artists and industry since 2010, Landmark Events / Showcase Festival’s goal is to expose artists to professionals from established companies such as Warner Music, Milagro Records, Whammo/Universal, Sony Records, Indica Records, Underground Operations, MTV Canada, S.L. Feldman and much more in sold out venues with 500-1200 capacities in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Kingston and Quebec City.
“Our mission is to break down the walls between music artists and industry representatives, and help artists build a support team to properly bring their product to the masses. I have literary watched and listened to thousands of bands and music artists from Canada. I truly believe that regardless of heightened accessibility, there are so many undiscovered bands and musical projects that would be competitive and do well in today’s national and global market if managed and promoted properly.” comments LME founder, Arthur Kalimidis.
With multiple successful showcases over the years, LME once again is proud to announce their upcoming events in Montreal, QC on April 20th at L’Alize, Toronto, ON on April 26, 27 at Tattoo Rock Parlour and in Ottawa on May 16, 17 at Mavericks. Selected Artists will Play at Club Soda and the Mod Club at the yearly ’Landmark Showcase Festival’.
Why LME does what they do?
