Saturday Sept 16, 2017 – 1:00 PM – Irene’s Pub (885 Bank St)
Saturday Sept 16, 2017 – 2:30 PM – Aroma Espresso Bar (200 Marché Way)

What was your reaction to the news you’d be a part of Marvest and who was the first person you told?
I was super excited to hear about playing Marvest and I couldn’t wait to tell my friends!

Please describe your sound.
I would describe my music as a mix between country, pop and easy listening. If that makes sense. My inspiration comes from my favourite artist Carrie Underwood. I also really enjoy Ed Sheeran. I think he’s super talented!

How did you get started on your musical journey?
I have been singing for as long as I can remember. My first live performance was at Centrepointe Theatre when I was 7 years old. I sang a shortened version of Love Story by Taylor Swift. Since then, I have been enrolled in singing and guitar lessons. I have also been spending a lot of time at Shoebox Studios in Kanata recording some of my own music. I have a handful of other songs already written so I’ll be back in the studio in the near future.

What can music fans expect from your show? Will you be playing or releasing any new music?
Music fans can expect a few covers and some originals as well on Saturday. I hope to have some music cards available for the show so that fans can download some of my originals.

What artists are you hoping to catch during this year’s Cityfolk and Marvest?
I don’t really know a lot of the artists so I’ll probably just browse some random venues and check out a variety of shows. My dad says that Silver Creek is pretty good so I would like to check them out.
