What was your reaction to the news you’d be a part of Marvest and who was the first person you told?
We were very pleased to be playing as part of the Marvest festival this year. As session musicians we are all very busy and relish any chance we get to play together in this group. The first people we told were our mothers.
Please describe your sound.
Our sound is a thick blend of neo-soul fusion with a dollop of funk on top.
How did you get started on your musical journey?
We got started in this band about 6 years ago and to date has been the longest standing group we have been a part of as individual musicians too.
What can music fans expect from your show? Will you be playing or releasing any new music?
Fans can expect a straight hyper Dance set from start to finish. We will be playing new material from our latest album ‘The Feast’ as well as some brand new unreleased music.
What artists are you hoping to catch during this year’s Cityfolk and Marvest?
Without a doubt ‘Tank and the Bangas’.
