So far it’s been a hot and sticky start to Bluesfest, but I’ll take that over the rain. There may not have been as many people as day one, but day two was still a pretty packed house with large crowds showing up for the main stage combo of Billy Talent and Weezer. Toronto band PUP kicked off the evening on the main stage for an energetic evening of rock.
The other stages had a mix of styles with something for everyone, including fantastic performances from locals Melo Griffith and the Jesse Greene Band who were both new to me this year. Make sure you come out early each night to catch some of the great local artists performing at this year’s festival.
