Another beautiful evening for Ottawa Bluesfest brought in quite a broad spectrum of fans due to the two headliners on opposite sides of the musical genre scale with Kygo headlining ‘City’ Stage and Buddy Guy headlining over on the smaller ‘Videotron’ stage.

Some may know her as ‘Maddie Conrad’ from the hit TV series ‘Nashville’, while others know her for her amazing vocals and musical success. She brought in the younger crowd which showed immense support throughout her set.

Overlapping the two headliners had The Trews in the ‘Bluesville’ tent, they had their dedicated loud and proud fans packed in here for the duration of the set.

Closing out the night we had both Kygo and Buddy Guy, with amazing talents regardless of choice. Kygo had the larger stage show, with everything from massive amounts of pyro, to shooting confetti into the crowd, dropping all his hits including his most recent chart topping mix of ‘Higher Love’ from Whitney Houston.
