If you’re looking for that perfect summertime soundtrack, Old Stereo may have just what you’re looking for. Their latest, What It’s All About is an entertaining blend of funk and soul inspired tunes, dripping with great riffs and hummable melodies.
To be honest I don’t know where to start with this one. There isn’t a bad track to be found and I’ve listened to them all many times.
I love the main riff and chorus on the title track. I can’t get enough of the groove and horns on the soul inspired Angel. I love the constant tempo change from mellow to crunchy guitars on Good Night My Friend. I love the vocals and riff on That Place, and last but not least, I love when the rythym of the closer, Be Somebody, kicks into overdrive about half way through and jams out to the end.
Just in time for your summer gatherings, What It’s All About is all about fun times. Grab a listen for yourself! Your ears will thank you.
