It wasn’t too long ago that I was introduced to the sweet sounds of Dynamite Motel and her debut album Muses.
Within a few songs, I was taken in by her sultry and soulful voice. Muses is a fantastic collection of songs combining elements of jazz, R&B and folk. From upbeat melodies to mellow grooves, the album has nice flow to it.
Highlights from the album include the catchy foot-tapping rhythms of Let the Credits Roll, the infectious Mahalo Blues and the laid back Freedom’s Emotion. But don’t stop there. The album contains many more hidden gems waiting to please your ears.
This multi instrumentalist (guitar, piano, ukulele) is currently putting together a string of summer performances around town. I’ll be sure to let you know where you can see Dynamite Motel performing live. I’m looking forward to catching a performance myself!
