Beau’s has just launched The Beau’s Mixtape! A new one will be released every quarter and will be available for 3 months. The mixtape will feature 15 tracks from some great Canadian talent. Included on the very first edition are Ottawa’s own Amos the Transparent, Hollerado and The Balconies! Check it out at mixtape.beaus.ca.

A couple of local acts have picked up awards at this year’s TIMA ceremony. Congratulations to both Zoo Legacy and Philly Moves who won the Best Urban and Best Rap categories respectively. It’s nice to see some of the great new artists coming out of Ottawa getting recognized outside of our city.
