Night 8 of the Big Money Shot saw the bands Nothing, The Strain, The Sound Technicians and HotShotCasino take the stage. Going in, I was only familiar with the music of The Strain.
Overall in the competition, I think Nothing are a band to keep your eye on. Their set was a pleasure to listen to from start to finish. The Strain are the youngest band in the competition, but put on an impressive performance. The Sound Technicians had a great energy to their set. With a varied sound that seems to dabble in many styles, HotShotCasino played some great songs and I was impressed with their vocal harmonies. All in all, another great night of music coming out of some of our local bands.
