It’s a new year. That means it is time for another edition of LiVE 88.5’s annual Big Money Shot competition. The last few years have served up some great bands. Will there be a new batch of great Ottawa music to discover in 2012? We’ll soon find out!
Want to get in on the action? In order to enter you need a 5 song demo, bio and photo. Entries are due by 5pm on February 24th. You can get all the details on LiVE 88.5’s website, on their Big Money Shot page.
The contest follows the same basic format as last year, with a slight drop in the Grand Final prize money. This year the grand prize winner will receive $25,000 in support, with 2 runners-up receiving $5,000 each. Again there is a strong focus on business plans and industry mentoring with various professionals.
