A Tribe Called Red is back with a new wrestling themed video for the title track off their brand new EP Suplex (ft. Northern Voice). The song and the EP, continue the group’s signature style of traditional Pow Wow music blended with thumping club beats.
The EP was released on Pirates Blend in Canada, and internationally on the band’s own brand new label, Radicalized Records. It is also available on iTunes.
The video, named after the prominent wrestling manoeuvre, tells the story of a Native youth who becomes a role model after gaining prominence as a wrestling champion, having grown up with no role model of his own to follow.
